The interior is upgraded with wireless Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, an 11.6-inch touchscreen, and wireless charging, making connectivity seamless. A foot-activated Power Rear Gate adds convenience, while revised Sport and Touring trims offer distinct SUV styling.

Powertrain

The 2025 Forester retains its 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine, now producing 180 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. While slightly lower in output, it improves fuel efficiency with minimal impact on performance. All models feature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a Lineartronic CVT, and SI-Drive.

Safety

Safety remains a priority with standard features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and lane departure assistance. Available upgrades include driver monitoring, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and evasive steering assist.

The cabin reflects modern Subaru design seen in newer models, featuring dual-zone climate control and available heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats on higher trims.

Exterior

The updated Forester maintains its boxy design with a slightly longer body. It features standard LED lighting, aluminum wheels ranging from 17 to 19 inches, and available roof rails. A hands-free power liftgate is also available.
